Set up StromNow charging card

Activate your card

Go to the “Me” tab in your StromNow app and select the “Charging card” menu item. There, click on “Activate charging card” and enter your personal card number, which can be found on the back of your StromNow charging card. After successful activation, you can start charging immediately.

Please note that a valid payment method must be on file to complete the charging process.

Manage charge card

In the “Me” tab under “Charging card”, you can manage your card at any time, even after activation.

In the details of each charging station on the StromNow card, under “Access”, you can see whether you can charge there with your RFID card. So you always know exactly which stations accept your StromNow charging card.

How to start charging with StromNow

1 Find a suitable charging station

Use the StromNow app map to find a charging station that meets your needs. Filter the results by plug type, charging power or use the route function to discover the nearest charging station along your route.

2 Start charging with card or app

StromNow gives you access to one of the largest charging networks. You can start charging either via the StromNow charging card or conveniently via the app.

3 Charge the vehicle

Your charging processes are billed monthly. You can view your history and invoices at any time in the StromNow app under “Activities”. Make sure that you always have a valid payment method on file to enable charging.
